Default Double Din HU conversion?

I have a 07 RK with a Reckless Fairing. I had already upgraded all of the speakers, added amps and changed to a bluetooth headunit. I was wondering if it's possible to install a touchscreen larger headunit into that space. Something like the picture I attached. Anyone ever do this and or have a link to what I need ? Thanks .

That's a Double DIN stereo with a Double DIN screen.

They make single DIN stereos with Double DIN screens.

Unless you already have a Double DIN fairing this won't work.

The are stereos that will give you the large touch screen without having to change your fairing though (if you have the single DIN).

Gotcha , yeah I'm guessing I have a single din currently with the pull down visor. So I'd need a single din with a larger screen ?

The only thing that bothered me about this option, and the second pic shows it, that you cover up some of speedo and tach.

How much room is in that Reckless Fairing? It may be easy to open it up enough for a double Din, especially a media player DD.

Eh, not enough. I already have an amp installed on top of the current stereo in the fairing.

Another issue is of course protection from the elements. Probably why I don't see alot of guys doing this option.
