Default How loud...????

I see lots of posts where folks are running crazy watts to some of these speakers. I have a set of PRV carbons in the fairing powered at 250W a side and I had to set the gains really low and there is no way I could listen to the at full volume. But I see posts where guys are sending 400 watts to these same speakers. Must just be insane! Am I missing something I’m my tuning? I have them crossed at 90-8000

WhAt kind of DB are you guys seeing?

Most of us that have that amount of power don’t roll around at anywhere near full volume. I can hear mine crystal clear at highway speeds at half volume and it’s rare for me to crank it higher unless I’m in a parking lot showing off lol.

x2 - You'd go deaf it you ran these systems for an extended period of time. You don't run your sports car ***** to the wall 24/7 either. But it's cool to give it a little juice once in a while, and have the added headroom when you're on the road so you don't have to push it that hard.
