I love loud music and I know my bike isn't going to sound like my car but I hav changed speakers 3 times in 6 months because they have fryed. Could I have something possibly set something or wired something wrong to have me frying (I actually c smoke when they go) speakers? Any help would greatly b appreciated.
The Fosgate PBR300x2 puts out 100 watts per channel RMS at 4 ohms.
If you have your gains set too high, have it set to All Pass, your AVC set too high, or any combination of those three scenarios, you will easily overpower either speaker you have had problems with.
EDIT: I would try a set of Biketronics 7.1" speakers. You won't overpower those.
