I wasn't trying to be an *** or cut you down nor am I worried about my frickin English. What I stated was a fact. You don't know any difference that's why you're here seeking help. So you tell me sir does their response make any logical sense to you at all???
So you're just an *** without even trying... Cool... You will never get under my skin sir, so please feel free to say whatever you please... LOL.
Just a curious question.. If RF knows that their 5x7 is a direct plug and play replacement for the Boom I & Boom II speakers... Why would they say the do not work with the Boom II? I mean with all the known issues with blown 5x7 in the lids that Harley has, why would RF not take advantage of that known issue and state right on their site that it works with both and for the Boom II you only need the one plug? They are not gaining anything by telling people it doesn't work. Just seems odd to me. If it does work as others are saying, then it seems RF is missing out a lot of sales...

Not trying to get under your skin but if the truth gets your panties wadded up you've came to the wrong place. We're all here to help and it's obvious you came here for advice. I was merely pointing out the advice RF gave you was wrong. I'll just defer to the other helpful folks here that have the ability to beat around the bush for those with delicate feelings. Good day.

Everyone here is trying to help you.
Its like some random harley tech telling ppl they haven't heard of sumping or the transfer issue. I had more than one tell me this. "Never heard of that...."
Not all employees know what they're talking about. If these two guys above say the RF speakers will work, they'll work.
But, I think you should bite the bullet and go with something better and ditch all the boom crap. lol An amp and 2 pair of 6.5's and a pair of 6x9's can be had for well less than 2k.

Gotcha, So you would take out the 3 Boom amps and replace all three with 1 and then replace all the speakers as well? What components would you suggest? How much wiring of the bike would need to be changed Just gauging what kind of effort it is. Like I mentioned previously I did put aftermarket in my last bike and did all the work myself. This I assume would be a bit more complicated as there are 3 amps and wiring to all of them that need to be redone?

"It's people like you"... LOL maybe look up the word demeaning. Like I said.. w/e... not worth my time.

And you're not worth mine either. Maybe the rest will sugar coat it for you. Maybe even hold your hand if that's what you need. I'm blunt and to the point and if it offends you, that's your problem.

But yet you keep coming back to see if I responded to your messages. I'm actually monitoring this thread to see about helpful responses. If I'm not worth your time, why do you feel the need to keep coming back to make further sarcastic remarks? Says all I need to know... Have a wonderful day...

Why are grown *** men like yourself all in their feelings? You still haven't answered my original question to you...Did RF's response seem sensible to you? You know it did or you wouldn't have posted their response here. But I'm the ******* for pointing out the obvious. If that's how you see it then so be it. I've been called worse. Good luck in your quest. Personally I'd pull out all the Boom II crap and start over but you're not interested in what I think. Good day.
That is what they say but they work. The boom speakers are biamped meaning they have 2 plugs going to them. The tms57's are coax meaning they will produce the full range with one source. You install them and only use the woofer plug (the only one that will fit) and leave the other plug unplugged. Full range sound from the rear that actually sounds better than the boom.

Why is that absurd? That's how bi-amping works. You use an active cross-over to separate the signal and then amplify with separate amps (2 per channel). Having said that I can also see how a coax speaker would still be able to get a reasonable frequency range using the single low pass amp as travelingypse has seen. Remember they are band passing for a dome and not a sub (and this is HD afterall). So RF aren't really wrong but the solution obviously works.
If I was the OP I'd listen to travelingypsye as he's done this before with good results.

Oh how easily someone mistakes your words for something other than they really are. I know this all too well. I had to reread your original comment twice to see you werent being demeaning but I can see how the OP took it as something else.
