I’m looking to replace my b52 amp for a 4 channel amp. I can get the stinger spx700x4 for 230.00. Is the stinger worth getting or should I hold out for something better. I’ll adding rear speakers eventually.
[QUOTE=16_Tri-Glide;19972770]It's a good amp especially if you want to retain your FM reception.
I'm looking for the same amp myself, but I haven't found one for $230. Are you finding it for that price on a certain website?[/QUOTE
My son works for a electronic distribution center and gets a employee discount.
The Stinger SPX 700 is a solid little amp, radio friendly, and I actually find it to be a warm sounding amp. The size works great. We all miss the cheap price, but even at today's prices, it's still a solid contender. I haven't tried the SD 800.4 Evox to compare, but it is more money than the Stinger.
I wish Stinger would bring out a big brother in the 4 x 200 watt range.
