So my DSI-2 wont power-on with the TURN-ON switch on "REM", but if I switch it to RCA or SPK, the green light (power light) turns on. I have the DSI-2 REM IN connected (red wire) connected with the wire coming from the cigarette lighter positive. Then the blue wire (REM OUT) to all of the amps. It's the same remote I used for my DSR1 and worked forever, but doesn't work for the DSI-2??? Do I have something connected incorrectly???
Sounds like a stupid question, but have you checked the cig lighter to see if it works?
I used the pigtail from harley to plug into the turn signals I think. Right up at the top of the fairing behind the windshield.
I think this is it right here. Just cut on of the unused plugs off and tap into the wiring there.
Teedoff, SOB, how about I connected a wire to the Remote in to power distribution block and it came right on with key! Thanks man, sometimes i need a different voice to slow me down!!!
yup, I had a dummy plug in the top accessory plug, so I just added a female barrel I had laying around, crimped the wire and connected the other end and voila Shyt worked just like it was supposed to! Next problem, well maybe not, but the cig lighter still works!!!! Maybe not enough volts passing through for the DSI-2, maybe??? Hell I dont know, but all is well. Thanks for the quick input bud!
