It does look interesting. I saw a review where I guy used it on a Honda Goldwing, so maybe it would be useful on a Boom Box. I suspect a good flash would still be necessary but from what I understand a line out converter is usually needed in those cases. If I were in that boat I'd be tempted to try this little Kicker unit.
