Default iDatalink aHD2 Wiring Harness

2014 Streetglide
Moto 600.4
Hertz HSK 165 front pods
Hertz MPX 165.3 PRO lids
Factory HU
Techno RF flash
Gains set with DD-1
Frequency set by my ear
Pods - HP about 70
Lids - HP about 55

So been running this for a few years now, but in 2018/19 i purchased a DSR1 with a iDatalink aHD2 Wiring Harness and yes I have been very busy did not want to rush the install but I'm installing them now. Trying to get as much info prior to starting the project.
Haze and Tailwind have provided a ton of info here, plus I like there bluntness! One thing I don't have is a great ear because of damage from the military. So what sounds good to me may not to others because of my poor hearing.
Been playing around with Perfect Tune it's pretty straight forward, Q's I learned how to hide feedback to get more gain in an auditorium type venue. But looking at the LOW, HIGH, and BAND crossover settings on Perfect Tune I'm a little confused on how to set this up
Question here because I have never heard that the HU could be put into amplifier mode, and once in that mode it doesn't matter what's flashed from the RF tech.

I have a calibrated mic, RTA, but not a well soundproofed garage to work in. Have tones and pink noise on a USB.

So has anyone have any data on this? What kind of output will the HU have now. It's been a few weeks now gathering info but nothing on the HU in amplified mode. RF wasn't much help besides saying flashing is no longer needed once its been changed.

"The interface allows you to keep your handlebar audio controls and other safety and convenience features, and reprograms the factory radio to Amplified mode."

Thanks all for what you do here!

The aHD2 harness is a straight forward.plug and play into the DSR1 on the high level input side, then low out and allows you to keep your controls as they are.

Well just hooked it up have not done any tuning and WOW what a different sound, no muddled lows, highs are clear. Thanks for the info!
Now I really don't understand why there isn't a lot of info out the sound right now was well worth the $$$ I spent lol.
