Definitely would prefer something with proven success and that will last. Not looking to be swapping out year after year. Do you have specific recommendations?
I gave two above. The SS and the NVX amps. I used that SS amp with a pair of those same speakers in my last bike. They sound pretty good. I will say though, my speakers blew right at a year, was able to replace them under warranty, but never installed the new ones. I switched everything up...amp and speakers.

Well that's scary, considering although they're not the most expensive items on the market I've still thrown about a grand in to this project. Wonder why your speakers blew...gain was too high?

That's very possible. I took my bike to a car audio, and considering they hack up my wiring harness a bit, I dont trust anything they did. I cant tell you how much power I was sending the,. Err on the side of caution when setting yours up. I bought them on amazon, and who ever the seller was replaced them no questions asked.
What were your thoughts on it based on what's mentioned, given your experience?
I would pick one of the 2 teedoff noted or grab a stinger and call it good with Kappas.....really depends on what you are looking for and will be satisfied with. I learn early on to go bigger than needed when it comes to amps
