Sounds good. The difference when I would lift the GZ out of the pod and then lower it back in...it really shines in that pod. Getting around 225w crossed @ 90hz.
Only 1 speaker playing in the video...nothing else.

What did you use for a BT receiver? You should do a nice write for the install. Lot of guys that don't have fairings are looking at this exact style. I had a fairing on my Heritage and just could'nt past how much it changed the look for me.
Thanks

I'm running a batwing fairing...but the pods can be installed on any harley essential with crash bars...plenty of bluetooth receivers on the market...and the SD 800.4 wouldn't be too hard to hide given it's size.
I'm considering dropping it in a saddlebag, that and the BT receiver, I'll use a quick disconnect for when I need to clean. How did you run your speaker wires?
Bringing this up......I was told by an installer in CA that the 7" pods will NOT fit a Softail engine guard. To close to the brake pedal and shifter, also to cautious where you put them because they can hit the fender. Anyone?
I'm resurrecting this post because, I want to know if the OP is happy with the sound and quality coming out of this system. Thoughts?
life happens but i finally got it all installed. Honestly it suprised me, it sounds amazing and will get very loud
listening at 100+ mph isnt a problem, can still hear it great. I do want to put a dsp in just to see the difference though. My dad has a street glide with the rockford system installed by the dealer and my brother has the boom audio stuff on his there is no comparison between them. In fact my brother is already ordering the mmats speakers
