I’m currently running 4 Hertz 6 x 9‘s in the saddlebags and hertz 6.5‘s and the upper and lower faring. This is running on a EvoX 1200.4. I am looking to replace the four 6 x 9‘s with one 8 inch midbass in each bag. I have an additional evox 800.4 to run the fronts . What would be the best option for 8” on the 1200.4? Thanks for your help
For 10’s, Faital RS350’s are a good go to. I’ve heard them sealed, unsealed, and with various amount of power all the way up to stinky VC territory and they’re pretty damn good and play loud.
eminence kappa 10L are pretty killer, I’ve heard them in a members bike here with a lot of power put to them and they’re damn clean and play very low for a midbass. I actually bought a pair of them myself I was so impressed with them.
A single 8 in each bag just isn’t that impressive. Now if you do 2 in each and pour the power to them, they aren’t bad. I’ve had 4 yellow baskets before on 1600 watts and they got down.
