Specs seem ok. I would be hesitant though at those prices and unproven.. Could become an expensive paperweight.
Juice
yeah i agree. they seem a bit steep. i cant just throw that kinda money away on a total hope and prayer that theyre worth it. i was hoping i was late to the party as usual and that others had already had them and had opinions valid enough for me to try them out. i was going to take a chance on the dsp though bc i need one now anyway. but theyre not even available yet. none of their stuff is. i emailed the president about the dsp and he replied informing me that production is delayed due to material shortages. he said they arent in the states yet. meaning it will be manufactured overseas and sold to the U.S. im sure.
There was some clown on Facebook and he would end his threads talking about how good cicada is. Lol. Sounded like a representative to me, just like the op. Same person?
no sir. not the same person. i heard of them from facebook comments myself. probably that sane clown as you referred to the guy. i am in no way affiliated with the company.
I think juice should step up and try those mid bass 8s out! lol
DSP price is pretty good if its a good one.
the dsp is what i am most interested in. i emailed the president and he says he will have a 48 quantity limited run of them in 6-8 weeks. i am going to gamble on it if i can find one at that time but ill have to wait and see if others like the rest of the stuff before i can try any of it.

I still have an arc psm if you can't get this one.
I have a set of the 6x9 in my bags. They are a quality built product and sound incredible. I plan on buying the Cicada Amp with the built in DSP. They are pricey but in my opinion they are worth it. I run Diamond Pros with external tweeters in the fairing and am happy with those as well
The owner of Cicada is the former designer for Diamond Audio, that left to produce his own line of audio equipment. I have no firsthand knowledge of his products yet, but they are said to be topnotch in quality and sound.
I guess we will have to wait for more reviews.
