Hello. Would like your input for this system. It’s going on a 2015 SGS. Factory head unit. Currently all I have is fairing speakers so I feel like it’s a good upgrade. The company put this together and sent it to me. I just want to make sure these are good speakers and amps. I am not looking for show experience just quality sound for me and my wife as we tour this great country (merca). Not going to put the company’s name out there. That not what this is about. I’m not up on audio and just don’t want to get screwed over. Thanks for all your help. This is the invoice they sent.
I would have a hard time spending that without hearing it or having some reviews from trusted people. I would get the head unit flashed and look at something like this. The below system is tried and true and loud AF. There maybe better 6x9's out there but the Mmats get loud with little power.
Euphoria EX4 Amp $600.00
GZCF 6.5SPL Fairing Speakers $300.00
Mmats PA690.4cx $300.00
I did a similar system from american hardbags. I have heard good things about the velocity speakers and initially was going that route. I opted for the Diamond NEO Ms65 which are rated at 300 watts RMS each after speaking to Diamond audio (Bryan) ! They are pricey but I only have two speakers and two horns (diamond MO75T) in the fairing and they are loud and crystal clear even at 90 mph. I used a dsr1 as well as a 6 channel amp to give each speaker 300 watts. I did not want any bag speakers nor will I ever do a system with speaker bags. I am always touring.
since your speaker are rated at 150 watts rms and your amp produces 120 watts x4, your fairly well matched. Diamond amps are excellent.
