gzcf6.5 spl/quantum qsx65cd
Had my mind set on the gz6.5spl until I started reading about quality issues..Anyone weigh in on if those issues are fixed?Will be using a sd800.4 evox with mmats 601.4cx in pods. If not the gzs , would the quantum qsx65cds be a good alternative? If not what other speaker would you guys suggest. just want to get my stuff straight before ordering. Fireball has been a great help in my search so far.. you guys rock.

Back up and tell the class exactly what your plans are IE locations and what you expect. The GZ problems were well documented but there has not been any new reports in recently. I would still go for the GZ's in the fairing but if you want speakers in the pods an 800.4 would be a bit lite @ 147x4. I would look for at least 200W for the GZ's.

If the Mmats fit that would be good. The ARC CX6 should drop in and no spacer needed. Nice clean look and get great reviews. Another amp to look at Euphoria ex4 but I am not sure if it fits in a pre rushmore batwing without trimming the gauges.

I put an ex4 in a pre Rushmore, had a mechless HU but still think there's room. Had to set it at about 45 degrees and bottom facing out for the brackets I made.
