Default Thin speaker adapters
Hello, have a 2008 Ultra. Bought cicada 6.5 speakers. The biketronic adapters are too thick at 1.5 inches. Does anyone know who makes thinner speaker adapters? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Don

Which Cicada did you get and what location are you installing them in???

Metra adapters 82-9601 are needed and the rib on the inside of the outer fairing behind the speaker needs to be trimmed

The Metra 82-9601 speaker adapters are my go to choice as well. Used them on a few 2013 and down Ultras now. The Metra adapters have a little bigger OD than some other adapters do, which gives the speaker a little more clearance.

I have done a few installs with those speakers and adapters. The mods to the outer fairing will have to be done to get the outter fairing to close up properly.
