Hello guys I'm looking to upgrade my sounds. Basically I was considering sealing my bags I have bags fron top shop. These bags are very heavy very thick and the do not flex at all when ever a bass not is played. These are the 4.5 stretched bags I have 10s in them now I'm wondering if I port and seal them and go with regular subs will it sound a lot better. Or what bags can I buy that I can drop in some 10 inch subs and it changes the sound like night and day. Please steer me in the right direction
Right now I'm using Rockford dsr1 I'm running 1600 watt sound digital amp on 2 10s the 10s are fiatal 10rs350 the bags are built by topshop they are very thick. The bike hits very well however during Panama city bike week a guy had 4 8s in a sealed and ported bags and man he made me look bad in the parking lot. So I want to be able to shut down a parking lot
my front fairing speakers are 5.25 beyma with the horn in the center and my lids have Matt's horns with the 2 10s in the bags 800 Watts playing the mids 250 watts playing the 2 front horns and the 2 back horns I could seal and port my current bags but I'm unsure if the air space it good enough. I'm looking at the voodoo competition phantom classic bags and rear end for 3,200

I've heard those faitals hit pretty hard. You sure your tune is right?
But its a deep rabbit hole if you're always trying to one up the next guy that has a better sounding bike than you.....
I'm not trying to out do everybody I just like how his bass sound. I want to get my bass like that. It hit pretty low. He had 4 8s in sealed bags and ported with a 3000 watt amp. Yes I'm tuned. Don't get me wrong my bike sounds good but those sealed bags hit...I'm to the point I will pay someone to give me the exact bags I need speakers everything to hit good like I want.

The bags, speakers and amp are a combo for some good lower sound. You need to seal the bags in my opinion with a 2-3" port. I just back from vaca where I heard several bags with rs 350's running off a 1600.1 or 3000.1 and will tell you that the sealed bags hit HARD. I had that combo in my stock bags not sealed and like you it sounded ok but sealing them will make a huge difference. I am now running jl TW3-10 and although it will go real low (in the 20's) and loud, it isnt as loud as a set of rs350-4ohm's set around 40 in a sealed bag with a good tune running off a 1600.1-2ohm.
Ok I will send out to have bags sealed and ported but what about correct air space oh and my fiatels are 8 ohm
4 ohm would be better use of the 1600.1 but the 8 ohm's will work too. Even with the 8 ohm verson, you can still smell voice coils if pushed too hard with that 1600.1.
