I searched all over the forums and can't find a specific answer.
I currently have a Kenwood BT328U. My left thumb control changes volume up/down, and turns ATT on/off when pressed. My right thumb control, up until recently, changed the tracks (pressing up/down). I'm using Spotify on my phone.
Got on the bike the other day, Bluetooth connected like normal. Started riding, and pressed up on my right thumb control to change tracks, but ATT turned on. Pressing up again turns it off. Pressing down now does nothing. The left thumb control still works for volume and ATT.
I tried messing around with the Kenwood settings, but nothing I've done works. I unpaired the phone, deleted it from the radio, then re-paired it. Nothing. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling Spotify. Nothing.
My phone did a system update last week, but I don't think that would have messed with the settings. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks for any help!

Mine on my Sony goes goofy 1 to 2 times a year. Never know what's going to work and what isn't. I've replaced the thumb control units a few times and still happens. I've found that I have to go in and reset radio and control unit. Then 8 out of 10 times it works normal.

Thank you for the reply. I don't know a damn thing about audio (just basic stuff), so when you say "reset the control unit," what are you referring to? I know I can factory reset the radio no problem.

There's some type of "thumb control" module connected to your radio so that your thumb control works.
How would I go about updating it? I believe I have the Scosche one
I'm not exactly sure. Would have to google that one.
Sometimes it worked for me to disconnect the controller, blow come air into it, turn bike on, then turn it off and then plug it back it and give it a try.
I have a jvc head unit that's been doing the same on volume, up and down on its own. Tried different jvc, and another Biketronics module, still does it. Going to change thumb control and see if that helps.
