In reading all of this info I still come back to how I've gotten along so far. I have a six year old Interstate AGM battery that still cranks the bike every time. I am running an Arc 600.4 under the fairing, an SD 800.4 in the clutch side bag, and a 300 watt waterproof kicker amp under the tour pak. My tunes play louder than I can stand without dinging the charging system. I can use the same battery tender/charger setup for all three of my bikes.
Given all of this, what would I really gain by switching to a lithium battery? I'm thinking of buying a new battery for the geezer glide just because of it's age, but I really can't see any reason given my track record to switch to a lithium.
Definitely tell the difference in power compared to an acid battery. Just the turn over was much stronger and faster. Music seems to like it better. Ordered a ctek charger for it because the noco I have wouldnt charge my last battery and Im afraid to try it on lithium mode
It sure is nice, isn't it?? Congrats man, keep us posted.
It says for large touring. After you said it I checked again. I canceled because I noticed the actual measurements were smaller. Im sure it would work fine but why not get the size to fit. 30HD is about the best there is unless you want to go real high dollar. Thanks guys. Im packing and Ill be on my way later this week.
Ive had a atx 20 hd in my road glide ultra for close to two years now and its been more than adequate for my needs. This is the battery that was recommended to me by anti-gravity when I was shopping for a lithium battery. The bike currently has a euphoria Xpert EX4, and two soundigital 800s( an 800.4 and an 800.1) I was skeptical at first but liked having the extra room under the seat. Id buy another one in a heartbeat. But all that being said I dont parking lot pimp much at all. I usually only play the music of bikes running.
still trash. Get a 24 or a 28ah and call it a day.
At the time you purchased it Antigravity only had the 30 series with restart and they were having problems with it on touring bikes so they came out with the 30HD for touring which is what they now recommend for touring.
