Default Speakers

I have a 2017 street glide with the boom audio stage 2. The speakers are blown and I was wondering if I can replace with the Rockford speakers since they are 2 ohm and still use the boom amp?

Yes you can, is there not cheaper speakers that are 2 ohm?

The fosgate speakers are takeoffs off of a 2022 street glide. Getting them for cheap.

I don't believe so. The Boom stage 2 should be 2 separate speakers: woofer and tweeter in grill. The Boom 2 amp runs mids to woofer one one channel and highs to tweeter on another channel. So you won't have full signal doing to the RF's.

Do your speaker grills have tweeters in them?

Yes, the stage 2 has 2 separate speakers. The RF’s also have the separate tweeter and woofer.

Perfect. Then should work just fine until those blow. That crappy Harley EQ doesn't give a speaker a chance to last over half volume.

I was wondering the same thing so I talked with a tech at HD and they said no. Having the same problem. I am considering Infinity Kappa Perfect 900x 6x9 speakers. Will need some adapters and I believe the radio will need to be flashed.
