Default Help please (audio snap )

First things first. I’m not a radio expert nor do I care to be .. (but I might be when this is over )lol … I have a 2003 ultra classic , Rockford fosgate 300x4 amp , stock head unit , I keep getting a snap when I turn the amp off , I have the amp grounded directly to the battery , I have run a ground wire from the amp case to the ground on the triple tree , I have tried adjusting the high level input screw , I have tried using a remote wire , the amp does it with the the radio on or off . My previous bike was the exact same set up and it didn’t snap like this. It’s driving me crazy and would love to fix this issue. So please help a guy out , any ideas
