Since always it tells you do not flash boom audio stage 2 systems right in the software.
Meh, that’s just a suggestion. Actually the only reason it says that is because IF you flash it and want to go back to Boom 2 flash, you have to go through dealer.
so if you never plan on flashing it back, flash away!
The bike I own is currently flashed to the HD 8 speaker 2 amp flash performed with the TR tool. The same flash used in my stock 14 Gt radio and the GTS thats in it now.
Can the stock GTS head unit with a single Boom amp be flashed to improve the sound?
If so, what flash is best?
To get back on subject
If you are using the Techno research TR-4 to flash your bike with 1 amp make sure you go into the page to activate either 1 or 2 amps.
It will change the input voltage going to the amp. If the amp config isn't set you may not get any sound from the BCM not turning on the amps and/or over power the inputs and damage the amp.
Most of us that upgrade our systems pull the boom amps out and use aftermarket amps.
Let us know what you come up with using the boom amp.

Thanks, as usual you are a great help.
Would the 8/2 flash be a good one to try?
