Can anyone that has their SoundStream head unit equalizer set where it sounds good with classic rock and country post a pic of their settings? I am currently using the defaults and don't really like them, but my ears suck for fine-tuning. So I thought I'd try to **** the system and cheat if anyone is willing to share. Thanks in advance!!

Every system is different along with everyones hearing.
Speakers ,speaker location, amp ,amp settings, crossover settings etc.
Post up what your system is so the group can get an idea of some possibilities in changes.
So i just installed one of these units, and have not left the garage yet to test on the road, michigan weather. On my EQ sliders most are at center or raised just a notch or two. The EQ filter is at 80hz. I have a boom 2 amp and speakers (2). The Soundstrem is twice as loud as my old 4.3 stock unit. I can turn it up to 25 (out of 50) before it starts to destort, so I'm sure it will need some tweaking. Hope this helps. See the Volunteer Audio Youtube channel for his recommendation on settings. Peace

these are screen shots and wording from some of Jays excellent HDHU2014+ videos @ Volunteer Audio(also look up his "loudest and cleanest sound from your Sony XAV-AX7000 on your Harley!!" video) that I use for reference to get better sound from my HDHU2014+ no additional amp and fairing Rockford Fosgate T1650 speakers (4ohm / 75W RMS/ 150W Max)
...as has been already posted 'sound is in the ear of the ear-holder'

mines a curve on the high side based on that +6 setting, seems to give me max volume and covers most ranges depending on tunes
(mainly rock, bit of punk/indy, rarely dance or bass based songs)
