Default Harley headset replacement cords

Does anyone have the hookup on replacement coiled cords to go with the wired headsets? Mine are coming apart, the rubber coating is coming off of them. Not interested in going wireless or bluetooth. I only use them except on long trips. I found some online but they are crazy expensive. My kit is 77156-98A Thanks!

I Googled the part number for the cord (77148-10), and this was one of the many results.

$3.99 sounds too good to be true, but who knows without looking into it?

This has bugged me for years. No reason for it to happen. Ever see a phone cord do this? Rare if you did. Anyway what I started to do is wrap the ends where is always seems to start with a layer of electrical tape to a tapper so the cord doesn't bend as much in one area. Then put a few coats of Plastic dip over the tape. This keeps the tape in place. I did this to repair an old cord to keep as a spare.
