Default Infinity Kappa 62 IX Coax Speakers

So I am getting ready to install a Soundstream HDHU14SI in my 2018 CVO Limited (which is now a trike) I have had rear speaker that sounds like the voice coil is dying (Buzzing or humming when playing, sometimes). Unfortunately I am blowing most of my available upgrade bucks on the head unit. Anyways I have seen some info on folks using the Infinity Kappa 62 IX Coax speakers with good results. Just looking for some first hand info. They don't say anywhere they are weather proof, but lots of folks say they have run theirs for years, including riding in the rain with no issues.
So what say you? Would these speakers make a decent replacement for my stock Boom 1 speakers for someone who is not afraid to ride in the rain?
If you have another relatively inexpensive speaker that you think I should consider let me know. I am pretty set on them being 2 ohms.

Thanks

Not even close...
62ix are a 1/3 of the price. Better specs.
And yes you can use them in any environment.

I have used the 62ix in a budget install. Great 2 ohm option. If you can, try to swing an amp as well... Thats the only way you're gonna get the full advantage of a good speaker. Lots of 2 ohm stable amps out there. The PN4.1000D comes to mind.

Edit*- just noticed yours is a CVO, guess it already has an amp!

Have you heard both speakers? Or just going by specs?

I used the Kappa 62.11x in the fairing of my 2013 with a CV B52 amp. I thought it sounded good especially for what I had in the system $. I never had any issues riding in the rain. I broke one of the screw wire mounts at one point over the years and had access to a 62IX so I put it in. I couldn't hear a difference between them and again, no issues in the rain.
