Default GTS Radio

So far I like this thing. I plugged in my USB and there are only like 10 or 14 songs I can find. There are over 1000 on it. It works on my 6.5 radio.
Yes I have the shuffle box checked and the repeat not checked. But I cant find a screen or icon that will even show me the artists etc.
Anyone know how to find the rest of my music ?

Go to your audio sources and pick the USB and it should show you the songs.

I imagine you are already doing that and not seeing what you should...
See if this works, in the garage turn the ignition on, and once the head unit is powered up, then plug in the USB stick. Along the top it should have a some sort of dialog about scanning or indexing the drive. I would leave everything alone while completes that, then after its done, see if you can find your music where it should be. If so leave the USB plugged in, or you may need/have to go thru that again. I had a USB a couple years ago with several thousand songs on it and it seems like I had a lot missing until I did that and then they were all there. Seems like it took like 10 minutes or so for it to index everything... and sometimes I would have to go thru it again if I unplugged the drive at some point. I don't know for sure thats it... and its been awhile since I used a USB stick, with the GTS I just use my phone/CarPlay now.

Not everything that worked on 6.5 works on GTS (like iPods). But you should be able to access everything on your stick.

I tried everything Ssitruc suggested to no avail. Tried a couple other things just for the hell of it. I did finally get it to work, with a new jump drive. WTF??? Oh well.
The old USB stick works on my computer, just not on the new GTS. Still works in the 6.5 GT. On the GTS, it only saw about a dozen songs and that's it Thanks for the help.

Might try moving all the music off the old USB stick, then do a quick format (FAT32) on the old stick, then put the music back on it and see if that "fixes" the old stick... if its worth the time, only take a few minutes (most of it will be moving the songs back and forth, formatting will just take seconds).

(I posted this yesterday, I thought... but it was gone today lol who knows where I really posted it???)
