Boom audio
I’ve installed a Kenwood KAC-M3004 amp in my Boom GTS system on my 2021 Road Glide. Do I need to get it flashed.

Short answer: Yes. Any aftermarket amp added to GT or GTS radio needs a flash.

I couldn’t tell you, I bought that garbage *** hogtunes, plug and play…works fine, but this forum demands that it’s garbage ***…even had a bad connection cable, they sent a new one practically overnight. But it’s garbage ***, did I mention that?

Ahhh, gotcha.
So yes, for the best sound quality, you would want to get the GTS flashed when adding an amp. Not required, but HIGHLY recommended.

Yes you need to move up to a J&M ROKKER system. Everyone here will tell you they are the best of the best.

It helps. I tried to go full plug 'n play, but then went ahead and flashed it after I got my TR tool. Had to set everything up again, but it sounds better at the top end, for sure.
