Anyone seen the email about map update at 10% off?
I am traveling and not at laptop, what does the update cost anyway? I want to say a $150.00 or something ludicrous.
It seems to be commented the price is too
much as well as some have said its still out of date that I understand. As good as google and apple are, I sometimes run into roads not updated. Petty issue to cry about.
Back to post, seen it? The offer. And until tomorrow, anyone know the actual cost on HD toolbox app to download. I do use the map as is on mine occasionally. Mainly heading home to see mileage and arrival time. Do i follow it to a T? Not always ha ha.
Toolbox was free, I just did the software (also free) and 2024 Map last week and paid $150. Just bought the bike used and it still had a 2014 map. Guess I should have waited a bit. Oh well.
I've yet to find any in dash GPS system as good as my Garmin stand-alone units. The in-dash GPS systems in 2500/3500 trucks doesn't account for hauling heavy weights of large units (RV).
I've talked to folks that have Harley's, BMW, Mercedes, as well as regular people vehicles. They either use Android Auto or the i-Idiot equivalent that shows on their screens in the vehicle. No apps available for Android Auto provides RV routing.

whipped out the garmin, have lifetime updates, updated it and it was lost in Connecticut. There are apps for RV and heavy haul. Thats the issue many have, and I am on board saying its bunk, but like credit card swipe machines, theres no true standard and theres a hodgepodge of tools available. Just a PITA at times. Like swiping a card.

Dratz! Yeah, who knew. Might have saved $15.00 but it is what it is. Have you utilized the update yet?
