Default Seek/next switch not working

Seek/next switch quit working on my 17 SG. Has stock head unit and bike was (upgraded, ha) to boom 2 system when new. Was operational for the first year I had it. Not working now. In the wiring diagram I see the switch harness labeled as can high, can low, battery and ground. Would like to know what wires to test to see if the switch is working. Or is it a possible settings / software glitch?

Can bus is a digitally encoded signal. There are no separate wires for each switch. It’s likely a bad switch, requiring replacement of the switch pack.

It may be a setting, try this

Start by pressing HOME
Select TUNER
Select FM
Hit MENU in the upper right
Make sure the first option is TUNE (and not seek or presets)

For what is is worth, and may be known already if so sorry:

is an online user friendly manual/tutorial that I found much easier than the book. It lets you go right to the section you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

And just like that, problem solved. I actually chose seek in the USB settings. It was on presets.

Thank you.
