What have you done to quiet down rattles from speaker playing mainly the lids? Is there doing to much dampening in the bags muffle the mid bass . 2 6x9’s in each bag facing the wheel.

If the lids are making noise or rattling you can tighten the latch on 13 and down bags or on 14 and up bags adjust the latch loops down to tighten.
Baby boy these 2014 latches will be hard to bend down and the real problem is the some areas of the lid edges to close to the bag edged which when vibrating it’s touching together.And these are OEM bags& lids I did use thicker lid gaskets from hogworkz.
BABYBOY I did make the latch holes longer to move the strikers down it did helped a lot but the brake side bag lid still didn’t move over to keep the lid lip from touching the bag edge so I had to add a brace to pull the bag in. Thank you
I adjusted the the lids latches back now my mid bass output is back and the rattles are back😏 so for now I’ll leave it be until I can go another direction. Looking to do some 8’s .

Well if you lost midbass when you sealed the lids you either need to put more power to the speakers or port the bag.
Yes BABYBOY I think that’s the case that’s why I will need to get high power mid bass speakers to handle 400 rms when I bridge the amp I’m leaning toward
Hertz 8’s mid bass speakers I still need bag space the 10’s are diffently out of price range and the rings.
