Good morning,
I'm on the harley forums in France, but I can't find an answer.
I ride a RoadGlide ST 2022.
I have the Whim module and two helmets equipped with the HD-50S
Helmets are connected and it's perfect for music, gps and telephone.
But impossible to use the intercom.
The headset icon remains grayed out on the home page and I cannot access the Intercom on/off function
as the picture below
impossible to find how to make this intercom active...
my wife is screaming into her helmet and it's very painful !!
tanks a lot
Dan
If you go into Home/Setup(the gear icon you see there)/Comms do you see "Intercom" as an option? If not you need to have the intercom enabled by having the radio (re)flashed.
that's my problem. I updated the boom box with the last 23version, then I did a reset and I still don't have the Coms/intercom menu.
the icom is always gray
Like Hamah is saying, you need to get your HD dealer to check it with Digital Tech. An Indy with TechnoResearch's Centurion or Diag4Bike, can also go into the BCM/Radio settings and see if it's been disabled for some reason. Unless you have diagnostic software like the above, you cant see these settings.
Should be a warranty item, have the dealer use Digital Tech (assuming they use the same diagnostic software as the US dealers) and get it straightened out...
