I’ve been reading about audio upgrades till my eyes are ready to bleed. I’ve got an idea what I want but could use a little advice from the experts. To begin with, I know very little about audio when it comes to watts, crossovers, gains, bridging etc. That being said, I’m looking to upgrade my system. Like most of us, I am looking for the best sound for the least amount of money. I have a 2011 Electra Glide Ultra. I’ve upgraded the HU with a RF pmx-hd9813. As of right now, I have the stock fairing and tour pack speakers. I also have a Hogtunes HF-1 Tweeter Pod. From my reading, I’m kind of leaning towards a Stinger SPX700.4 or Soundigital 1200.4 amp. For speakers, I’m thinking 4) Mmats PA601.4cx or 2) GZCF6.5spl in the fairing and the Mmats or Polk MM652 in the tour pack. I listen to mostly 70’s -80’s rock from a usb drive or Pandora but sometimes the FM. Not looking for a ghetto blaster but like something with a little bit of bass that I can hear at 80 mph. As it is right now, my wife can’t even hear the rear speakers. If I should be looking in another direction, please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If budget is a BIG deal, the Mmats will save you some money vs the GZ, but the GZ's will definitely hit harder and take more power.
The rear speakers, imo, only way to really hear them is with Hertz SX 165 Neo's. I had them back there, swapped them out for Polk Audio MM652, and I can't hear the Polks like I did the Hertz. As far are your wife not being able to hear them, it's because her thighs are covering the speakers...nobody can hear the rears when riding 2up.
So with all that said, if you want to keep it strictly budget friendly, Mmats in the fairing, neo's in the TP, Stinger amp feeding both speakers 125w crossed @ 80hz through the RF HU.

Thanks for the reply. Would GZ would be a better choice for the fairing? Would they work with the Stinger amp or is there another amp that I should consider. Hopefully, I can just do this once. At this point, I don't want to short change myself over a couple hundred dollars.

IMO, I have ran both the GZ's & the Mmats in my fairing...I ended up selling the Mmats and the GZ's are still in the fairing. The Mmats are no slouch, but for the extra $80, I would pick the GZ's.
If budget allows, and the fact that you can control crossovers via your deck, grab a 1200.4 EVO amp. A lot of guys say that the Brazilian versions are no good...but I have been running one for a year with no issues...and tested the amp with an oscilloscope and hit spec wattage with no clipping.
With that amp, you can feed the GZ about 185w clean and cross them @ 80hz, and give the Neo's 150 clean and cross them at around 110hz. This will be a nice, loud 4 speaker set up.

Will the 1200.4 amp mess with the FM? Seems I read that the Stinger plays nice with it. If that's the case, will the Stinger run the GZ and Neo? Otherwise, I guess I'll have to decide what's more important. Thanks for your advice.

Oh yes, you mentioned you listen to FM...yes, then you will lose FM with SD. Stinger "can" run the GZ's, but you'll be lite and wish you had more. There are a few other amps that don't mess with FM but you'll need to do some homework. FM was not an issue for me...with all the music apps available today, I could care less about FM.
If you decided on the Stinger, I would recommend the Mmats over the GZ's.
I assume I'm wanting 4 ohm? Will keeping the existing hogtunes tweeter pod create a problem? I assume it's probably 2 ohm. With all these questions, I should probably sign up for your class 😆

lol...no class...just one guy helping another...same was done for me when I started.
Get rid of the tweeter pod...will be obsolete once all your new gear is installed. Unless you plan to add more down the road, the 4ohm version will be just fine.
I went on your link to Buy Brazil and found the 1200.4. Kinda weird tho, sometimes when I go there it shows the price of $299. Other times it comes up $402. Also, the photo looks like it's only 2 channel. Maybe just the wrong image? I reached out on What's App to find out. If you have a chance, let me know what you think. Thanks

Yup...I did that as well. The WhatsApp number is now in my phone for future orders 😅.
Ask him for the best price shipped to you...they'll always beat the website price. Make sure you're ordering the 1200.4 and not the 1200.2.
