Bike is a 2017 CVO Street Glide with lower fairing speakers added with the Harley parts. I have blown 2 of the 5x7 lid speakers in the last 2 years and think its time for an upgrade. I purchased a pair of Infinity Kappa 6x9s with the adapters from American Hard Bag but the more I think about it Im leaning towards doing the whole system. American Hard Bag has the 6.5 Kappas paired with the Arc Audio Ks 125.2 amps. Is this a decent combo? Would there be a significant gain in sound quality using the Harley amps? Or should I do both. Not an audio guy so ease of install and wiring is a plus.
This would be a decent setup but I would use a different amp for better output. I would go with a two Soundigital 800.4, Cicada 1000.4 or 1400.4 thats if your running Fairing, lower fairing, and lid 6x9s.
Velocity Overdrive 6x9 component kit for the bags
Velocity Overdrive 6.5 speakers with horns for the fairing uppers
Velocity R65 Neo 6.5 mid woofers for the lowers
Velocity RZA1000.4 amp
RF DSR1 signal processor
I've been on this forum since 2015 and audio section for almost the whole time. You got me.....never heard of their stuff for motorcycle audio. Other than those thoughts, I can't be much help, as I'm uninformed!

Interesting
I'm wondering if one company makes most of this stuff and then lets these audio retailers brand it for themselves, the items mentioned above were quoted to me by American Hard Bag (also seems to be the only place that carries them). I'm noticing that almost all of these internet audio places all have a different brand for what they call their premium stuff
What are some brands or websites that you think I should check out? Like I said before I'm not a audio guy
