2022 gts radio question
Hello
i recently purchased a gts radio out of a 22 touring bike and want to install it into my 2015 flhtk. Question is am I gonna need to find someone with a 19 or newer bike and use there ecm to trick the radio into thinking my bike is a 19 or newer.

IF it actually came out of a 2022 year model you should be ok, because it should have came from the factory with the backwards compatible software. If it has software version MY20.19.39.00 or later you should be good, If not you will get a "not compatible" message when you turn it on... then you're looking for the buddy with a 2019 bike 
so you can get it to function long enough to update the software. May/probably will have to take it to somebody to get it set up for your bike's configuration though (amps, speakers, etc).

Everything I was able to research was pointing at 22 being plug and play. That was the reason for trying to purchase a 22 model. Ill find out tomorrow and post my results. Maybe that can help someone else in the future.

Quick update.
2022 gts radios are plug and play without the need for a software flash or a 19+ecm. .you will need to get the radio flashed to turn on your tour pack speakers.

Anyone with a Centurion or tool like it can enable the speaker.

Any Indy shop worth going to has the tools to do most of this type of work . It is no big deal. just a madder of hooking up going in and enabling the options you need.

So I have a 2022 GTS radio and yes it was plug and play. Works fine in my 2014 without any programming. However when turn on my ignition the horn on the bike now beeps 5 times. Everytime I turn the ignition on. Im lost. Anyone run into this issue?

I found one from 22 Roadglide, wanted to know if it has to be reset before I buy it (Going into my 2016 StreetGlide) ?
