Harley-Davidson says Android Auto no longer supports motorcycles. Huh!
Android Auto and Carplay have never officially supported motorcycles. In their websites they don't show motorcycle brands in their supported brands list.
I know that this has been talked about before, but why does the new Soundstream Reserve V2 have both AA and Carplay?
I think that Harley just doesn't want to pay whatever fees they were being charged.
My 2020 RGS will run Android Auto just plugged in through USB in right side glove box.
Car play needs the jumper. Many have added. I am too lazy to.
I can play Spotify though in same way as AA and I just use the GPS on bike, usually just to track miles home. Or get me close to destination on the front end.
If I am without cell to play Spotify, I have a USB stick to put in for noise. Music is cool at times but rolling at speed or focusing in twisties I dont hear it or care to.
There are no wrong routes to get anywhere, just roads i/we have never ridden.

AA works just fine on my 2021 Ultra. Also, a friend just purchased a 2023. While at the dealership the other day, I plugged his phone in and set it up for AA - worked perfectly.
As others have said, it might be that you received some mis-information.
The issue with no longer having Android Auto is in regard to the 2023 CVO Street & Roadglides with the Skyline OS. This is the new infotainment system with the 12" screen which also displays the gauge.
I have heard this is from a few Youtubers but not anyone from HD. Hope this will be corrected as the ability to run AA on long trips is great .

I had been curious about the new integrated display / head unit , seems that would be big step back from the GTS .
