Default Side panel amp mount

Anyone ever mount an amp under one of the side panels on an Ultra? 2008 is what I got and I’d like to add an amp for speaker lids under one of the side panels at some point. I’m guessing I’d have to make something to mount it to and try to weather seal.

Any reason you don't want to mount it in the fairing? Lots of room in the fairing for 2, 3, or 4 amps, depending on the amps being used.

not really actually. I currently have a soundstream pn4.5200 that takes up all the room on top of the stereo. It’s a tight fit in the batwing of the pre Rushmore bikes. I’m gonna be adding a second pn2.350 for lower fairing speakers and I’m not sure where to stick that one yet either. Any suggestions would be great.

Be better off upgrading to a more powerful motorcycle amp to put in fairing and power all 4 or 6 speakers.
Adding more amps leaves room for more failures and a ton of wires.
