I know we have some very knowledgeable people on here, so I will try to make this short. I had to take my audio system apart because I was getting some kind of pop when I started my bike. Now I am going to try to put it back together with a wiring configuration to maximize my output. I have the following on my bike now:
Soundstream -HU
ddaudio- Dsi 3 DSP
Diamond 6.5 MP654- tweeters are on their own channels fairing
PRV - 6mr500-NDY-4- on the lower fairing
DDaudio - VO-XN6x9a in my bag lids
PRV- 8's 8MR500CF-ndy-4 *ohms
I am just trying to figure out how to connect everything.
Thanks
P.S. I have 2 /1200.4 and 1/ 800.4 soundigital amps
There's a few ways to do it, but I would probably do:
-- 1200.4 1/2 bridged to PRV 8, 3/4 bridged to other PRV 8
-- 1200.4 1/2 running PRV in lowers and 3/4 running Woofers in Fairing
-- 800.4 1/2 running horns and 3/4 running 6x9's (as those 6x9 do not need a lot of power)
This will get the most for midbass and sound in front of you with some filler coming from lids.
