Ive been working on some audio stuff on the bike.
I fount that the new Power Acoustik CP-71W Firmware Update allows the user to change the Image that is shown when the radio powers-up.
So, I made a Harley-Davidson themed .JPG that appears while the radio boots-up.
I also made a Bar & Shield Logo image that I added as a Wallpaper/Background.
My only concern with that particular unit would be the exposed usb slot in rain or washing. does it have a rubber plug to insert when you don't have a cable in use?
Has anyone found a wireless CarPlay unit to replace the larger head unit? I have a 2014 Ultra and just want wireless CarPlay.
I have a Soundstream HDHU14+ in my 14 Ultra Limited. I have a wireless adapter hooked to the usb cable in the cubby. I can keep my phone in my pocket or hooked up to a charger in the tourpack. Wireless Carplay works great.
What single din did you use by chance? I got a single din mounting for my 20003 electra glide but it doesn't fit the radio

Radio seems to be holding-up just fine. I've not been caught out in the rain, so cannot speak to how that will impact it.
The screen is, obviously, smaller than I'd prefer...but it's usable.
My primary objective was twofold - Get easy access to Apple Music via CarPlay, and use CarPlay to allow me access to my 'Smart' Garage Door Opener thru CarPlay.
Both of these objectives have been satisfied. I like it.
The Mapping feature thru CarPlay is nice. It's not as easy to view as the larger CarPlay screens in my cars...but it is definitely usable.
I'm not sure I would select this radio if I were someone who was constantly riding in the rain, but that said - for the price it may have still been something I would have tried before spending a ton of money on a 'weatherproof' Head Unit.

I used the Metra Kit.
Other radios fit easily.
But when I swapped over to the CP-71W, I had to do a bit of work with a file to get it fit properly. It was not a lot of work. Spent maybe 10-minutes on that part of the install.
Hey found 'em! Nice man. Thanks for your help on this. New head unit looks and sounds great. I know we chatted a bit over on YT, and any help you can give on the SWC is much appreciated!

Sorry. Saw your other post & replied before I found this. We can keep the discussion here.
Are you using the 3.5mm Remote plug? And, did you cut the appropriate 'Kenwood' loop/jumper wires?

For the SWC, I am pretty sure I have the 3.5mm plug connected and cut the 2 loops indicated in the manual for a Kenwood application.

Thanks. I did try with that. I've tried it with every config. I'm about to punt and get the Metra Axxess HD-ASWC1 kit and see if that works any better. Appreciate your help! It got me most of the way home.
