Restoration question!
End of Amp harness
Interconnect?
Back in the saddle after a few years. I have inherited a nice 2006 Electra glide FLHTCUSE (CVO) that someone chopped to what appeared to be a street glide - w/ quick release TP (tour pack removed, amp, harness, etc).
Me being an originalist - I am restoring to factory - despite better options, I enjoy stock. It was also missing the modules on top the radio - So I got the XM radio module, GPS, CB back up and running. (It had hog tunes at one point so I assume they made room for an inner fairing amp.) I finally found the leather tour pack, and amplifier off a parts bike, and then I hit a roadblock - installing the amplifier harness up to the fairing...I have a plug that needs to be connected at the fairing...
This is for the amplifier harness (70179-06A) at the very end toward the fairing, there is a Deutsch male/female that has three white wires and a black with two yellow. I have the CB/XM up and running successfully using the Ultra CB/XM harness (70172-06) which did the trick - but I am wondering if I need the Ultra overlay harness (70164-06) to connect the amplifier harness, or does jump between the interconnect harness or someplace I am missing?
The only connector that seems available to be bridge is circled in yellow by the radio. Front speakers work when I plugged it in, but because I have no fader/4 way flash setting I am assuming the TP speakers are in op.
