I had the original HDHU14+ in my 16 SGS, I loved it! I now have the V2 in my 23 RGS and love it as well, the wireless carplay is amazing, the larger screen is nice as well, I don't know that I can say I would spend the money on it again if I had it to do over again...
like scott_0 i originally had aHDHU14+ which was a blessing after the OEM 6.5GT however I then upgraded to the HDHU.14si with programmable MAESTRO module. Game changer! full joystick control when using AA/CarPlay. Technically you USB for AA/CarPlay but I run a great wifi module and so the chord is cut
....can't speak for the V2, got no need for it yet
Thanks for all of the replies. I am still sitting on the fence with which way to go.
I went with the V2 on my 2016 RGU last month. No regrets. Phone and Sena hook up to it flawlessly. Still running stock speakers for now, but it sounds 100% better.
