Been a while since I've posted but have been dropping in from time to time. I recently installed a Kspeaker sound bar on my 2016 Road King and the unit is pretty good, except for the radio reception. It is plenty loud when paired with my cellphone or working with a USB drive. The only real sore spot is the lousy FM reception which is almost non-existent. The radio is not a make or break thing for me but I'm curious if anyone has rigged up a way to add an FM antennae to this or similar units? Just thought I'd ask.
I'm sorry I can not help with your antenna situation, but I am interested in getting the KSpeaker for my Fatboy. I have a windshield also, so I'm hoping that will help with the volume. Which KSpeaker sound bar do you have? In your sig pic, it looks like it is mounted directly to the windshield? Any pics of that? Also, my bikes not that loud (now), is this speaker really ok for cruising at 60? Easy to set the volume? So, no problems so far? Thanks for any info. If I plan on using radio, I will use I Heart Radio app to get a station. Have you tried that? Anyway , thanks for any info.

Good Afternoon Jerry, the KSpeaker attaches to the handlebars so you can have tunes with or without the windshield. I can hear music, etc. at normal cruising speeds, but I have my I-phone played through the speaker system which is more than loud enough. The FM radio may be great in an area with a lot of FM stations, but where I am, it is really not much use. My RK is not obnoxiously loud so I get pretty good volume from the setup. Really loud mufflers would likely drown out the sound bar at high speed. Installation is pretty straight forward, should take less than an hour at most. If you need anything else. let me know.
