Default Securing boom amp

I have a 16 cvo street glide with the amp in the saddlebag. The tape holding it on was starting to fail so I took it off. I cleaned all the tape off, then cleaned the bracket and bag with alcohol. I have some “industrial” grade 2 sided tape that I got from a buddy a while ago, you used it to hold on the pocket pouches to his tour pak lid and it never came off. Not sure it will hold the amp so if it doesn’t what tape would you recommend to hold the amp in place. Not interested in changing out the system just wanna keep the amp in place. Before I attached the tape I wiped down the bracket and saddlebag with 3M adhesion promoter, hope it holds but if it doesn’t just wanna be prepared with something else.

Whenever I need to stick something for good I've had good luck with the Scotch 3M outdoor rated double sided tape. Its the thick gray stuff.

I think this is it:
Scotch Mounting, Fastening & Surface Protection Permanent Outdoor, Holds 5 lbs, 3M Scotch 4011 Exterior Mounting Tape, 1 in x 60 in, 1"x60" Scotch Mounting, Fastening & Surface Protection Permanent Outdoor, Holds 5 lbs, 3M Scotch 4011 Exterior Mounting Tape, 1 in x 60 in, 1"x60"

Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind if the stuff I used doesn’t work. Forgot to mention he was an aircraft mechanic and this two sided tape came from his work. If it works on planes it should work on an amp. 🤞🏻

Yeah I remember one of the first uses I had for that stuff was securing some equiment underneath a desk. The customer asked me to relocate it and when I pulled it off it ripped the wood veneer off the underside of the desk!
