Don't know if this is the right place but here it goes. I would like to update the maps on my 2019 Ultra Limited, how do you do it. I am teck challenged so any help would be appreciated
This website should have all the info you need. It includes updates for the software as well as a link to buy the map updates. If you are really tek challenged you can probably take it to the local dealership and pay them to do all the updates but it's probably gonna cost you $100-200 for the labor and $150 for the actual map updates. For that price you can buy a REALLY nice cell phone mount and just use google or apple maps which are updated automatically. https://harleydavidson.welcome.naviextras.com/
Touchdown - in the above post, you were indeed given some good tips. Might I add:
I updated my maps - cost was about $145 (discount) . I did so only because I was headed across Canada and didn't want to use my cell service (google maps). The update did show some new roads - however, looking back, it was not worth it to me.
Above mentioned google maps - since you have a 2019, I have to believe you have the GTS radio. That system will run google maps, waze and carplay from your phone. Many of us have found that this is truly an advantage.
If you are interested, write back and we can help you get that loaded. Do you have an android phone or iPhone?
Good luck

Yes I do have google maps and car play. I want to up date the maps because I noticed lot of intersections changed and some new highways too. I like to use the scenic and not highways when I travel. After driving a truck for 40+ years and 4 million miles I can get around the interstates good. Thanks for your help.

I completely understand - then use the guidelines from the other poster and go ahead and update your GTS maps.
Just as an FYI, both google maps and Waze have a feature you can turn on that allows you to avoid highways. On Waze, you can even avoid dirt roads.
Im going to give it a try. First it says insert USB into boom box, then down load tool box to computer. Question what is the tool box and how do I get it?

The toolbox should be a download on that naviextras site. If I remember correctly you connect the USB go through some menus on the radio and it puts some files on the USB. Then you put the USB in the computer and run the toolbox application and it will either allow you to purchase in app or you get some kind of code when you purchase (I can't remember which and there's a chance it changed) but either way the app is pretty good at walking you through the process.
My friend up dated or I should say down loaded The maps for me on one of them sticks, cost 158.00 from HD (WTF) all I got to do is pick it up and install it

Yers sir - that is exactly what we were talking about that cost.
This is why so many of us stick with google maps or carplay
