You can go with the Harley Cardo unit (PackTalk Edge). They are indeed compatible with the WHIM

I believe you'll need a Sena headset unit to connect to the WHIM if you want to listen to your bike's radio/infotainment system. A non-H-D Sena will work but will lack stereo sound in your helmet speakers and may lack a few other things. You might get lucky and find a dealer with a leftover H-D Sena kit for sale. Or you might buy used. This definitely NOT a sales add but I have a Sena 50S dual pack with all the essentials. I'm planning to sell it soon. I switched to a different audio system altogether and no longer have a use for the HD Sena.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Harley has moved to Cardo. If you purchase a Harley Cardo, it will connect to the WHIM (in stereo). If you purchase a non-Harley Cardo, it too will connect but, only in mono.

not long bought a cardo equipped flipper lid, only a cheap thing(ls2?),but i love being able to chat with loads of other riders.
its got loads of other abilties but at my age i have to concentrate more on riding/doging the various solid things.and potholes.
i also have my radar alarm linked to it, a very necessary tool in england.
the cardo is much clearer/better range than my previous no name ebay carp.
