I think the Tour-pac on my 2013 eG Ultra is about 20-25 lbs including the rack and Antennas, speakers, back rest.
i was going to install a 4 point dock system, But after the short time it took to remove the tour-pac ( 15-25 minutes)
I decided not to buy and install the 4 point docking.
To remove the tour-pac it is very quick and simple, remove Saddle bags, remove the four mounting bolts, in stall bags and your done.
I only use my Tour-pac on road trips longer than 3-4 days, (motel stays) and the passender foot boards work great for Ice Chests, one for water ,one for ice cold beer
for road trips 1-3 days I strap on a Tomestone Bag to Passenger seat.

I just installed the quick detach brackets on mine this weekend. My tour pak is 46 Lbs with the luggage rack, both antennas and quick detach bracket. The difference in the ride was quite surprising with the bike handling much more nimbly. The other thing that surprised me is the sound difference without the pak.

Time to fix that tail light

I bought the quick release and love it, I can ride around town with no TP, or my Razor TP or my King TP on long trips..... glad I did this

It's not just the weight. The tourpack is high on the bike so removing it lowers the center of gravity.

How are you going to bring home pizza without a tour pack?

FWIW, I have a quick release passenger backrest, with attached luggage rack. With just a little due care and caution, I've hauled pizzas home quite successfully.
