Does anyone actually run this or does everyone just leave it off? if you do use it where do you put it on a road glide and how well does it work?
I put it in when I redid my setup. I pulled it out next to the windshield mount. It lays on top the dash behind and under the windshield. While riding forget about it working. However just last night, the youngest boy was calling, because he text and got no response. I pulled over, shut the bike off and answered the call. She was able to talk to him over my shoulder and he heard everything fine. The wind and engine noise is too much though. 2012 FLTRXSE.
I dont see ANYWAY to use it while riding, the cord is not long enough to run up to your helmet.
And then there is the issue of securing it if you could.

I took the clip off and mounted it to the dash behind the windshield using some 3M VHB double sided tape that holds it really well, I really haven't had the opportunity to use it yet as I've received no calls while riding, but I can imagine it wouldn't be very affective while riding, but I figured it doesn't hurt anything to mount it. I do have some Sena Bluetooth headsets that connect to the head unit I could answer calls on if needed, but I haven't even tried those yet either. Sorry, but this is the best picture of where I mounted it.
