Amazing what talent some of you guys have...a case in point.Beautiful job. I spent a few bucks on speakers, amps, etc, and never listen to the stereo. I like the peace of just hearing the bike rumble along. But, some love the music. In any event, great job and useful information. Enjoy.
Awesome bike man.. I'm looking at doing the same style head unit, a lot of the ones I'm looking at have a parking brake wire to insure the safe use of the DVD player! Did you have to deal with this and how so?

I love everything you have done to your bike. I just don't want to put that much money in it right now. Here is my problem I have a 05 Ultra and want to install 2 amps one for the lower fairing and one for the sub in my tour pack. I brought a high lower level converter but somethings not right. Does anyone know the speaker colors for the rears ? I need help so I can connect this thing right. Thanks
ive been thinking about changing the head unit on my bike, did you notice a big different with a new head unit ? i know the put out more power than the stock HK, the HK display color matches the gauges and everything and has the clean stock look but im on the fence about a new headunit
yes big difference however there is a catch....
changing a stock head unit to aftermarket head unit is an issue. Speakers are 2 ohm, most aftermarket (if not all) will only handle 4 ohm or higher.

ya my alpines are 4, just an idea i know in my trucks that ive had, ive always had subwoofers, i start with a stock radio because i like the stock look, but i end up adding a new headunit because of the difference you get out of it vs stock headunit, looks nice and clean stock, but you do deffinately get alot out of an aftermarket
