having volumn trouble. set volumn after short time decreases to mute, reset same thing happens

 

need imformation on volumn mishaps on harmon kardon stereo

 

Losing all volume seems like common issue on stock HK units from reading many post. I've read some blame it on vibration and broken fairing brackets. You can have Iron Cross fix it for ~$250 or do like many and go aftermarket headunit.
