Default Mounting Boom Audio Headset

Bought a pair of Bilt modular full face helments, has the flip up sun shield you can raise and lower with a little lever on the left side to operate the sun shield. Having trouble getting the clamps that come with the HD Boom Audio headset to attach to the bottom lip of the helment. I was thinking about using some epoxy to glue the part of the clamp that would normally fit inside the lip, to the outside of the helment, and then using the screws to attach the mic part to that. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem this week when installing new headset in wife's helmet. With the screws tight, the bracket would still slip off the helmet lip. I put a couple of pieces of scotch type tape on the helmet and then rolled a short piece of tape backwards so the adhesive side would be on the outside all the way around. Put this over the other two pieces of tape and it worked great. I am planning on removing the existing tape and replace with double sided as soon as I buy some.
