Default CB Intercom HELP

I have a 2008 ultra and if I have the CB on and talk on the intercom everyone I am riding with can hear it! There should be a way to talk on the intercom with out the whole world hearing what I say. I talked to the dealer they said it was in the settings!!!However they did not tell me what the settings were or how to stop it. Does anyone know or have some idea, how to do this. thank you

Have you had the antenna tuned? Is it that you're overpowering their systems or that you're all on the same channel and they can hear you? If the latter, it's a CB, anyone on that channel will hear you. Hopefully you didn't say anything to your passenger that you didn't want the guy next to you to hear. LOL

and by the way, if you're talking to just your passenger, turn the CB off and don't use PTT as the mics are voice activated so that is a private conversation.

Are you using a boom or hand held mike?
