Default Audio Install Question for UltraNutZ

Ultra does it matter if the wire harness rest on or against the amp. Should i be concerned about some heat effecting the wires. the attached pic shows what I'm talking about. I did wiggle a little more slack but theres not much left. This pic does not show the final resting spot but you get the idea.

Ultra, On the high input wires the diagram you have in your drop box shows the color of the wires in a different order than what i have . My plugs go from left to right . black, brown red orange, yellow. and both right and left run the same way is your diagram flipped for the right side input, which would be left side of diagram. i think i confused myself thanks in advance.

you know.. someone else mentioned that as well a couple of days ago to me. My high input plug colors match the diagram i drew out.. What I did notice on mine also was if you look at the manual's diagram and then look at the diagram on the side of the amp, they were different. Had to call SS for clarification. Did they fix that in the newer releases of the manual? What's on the amp is correct so my drawing might be a little off based on my plugs. Can you take a pic of the high inputs and where they plug in on the amp for me and post?

sorry man I just saw this.. no it won't matter because that amp doesn't get hot. What I would do though is try and wiggle a little more slack in that back left harness so the vibration doesn't chafe the harness on the corner of that amp.

ok yeah I see what they did. My wiring harness colors are layed out differently than your's are. Your's are correct mine were not.

So in this case, here is the correct diagram..

Thanks Ultra. i'll have to get new connectors and redo the leads for the inputs. no big deal. My ss book is wrong too. it shows the front right leads reversed and the rear right leads reversed also. So make note markings on AMP are correct.
